Afternoon Kids Cooking Class
Event description
Get your kids cooking this school holiday! Sign up for our cooking classes with Little Treasures Education, for your kids to develop their budding cooking and kitchen skills. This class is designed for ages 8 to 13 and will require some basic cooking skills like mixing, measuring, and following basic recipe steps. Class will consist of ~1.5 hour cooking time mixed with food/plant education.
This event is very popular and has limited tickets, please cancel your tickets if you are unable to attend.
There are two separate classes on this day, timeslots cannot be switched.
This is not a 'drop and leave' event. All people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible parent/carer. Parents/carers are responsible for the safety and well-being of children at all times. Accompanying adult do not need a ticket for this event.

Type of event and expectations
Children’s workshop space - Children are expected to follow instructions of the program facilitator and be respectful at all times. Participants must be capable of following safety instructions. Quiet spaces will be available for this event. Parents/carers are responsible for the safety and well-being of children at all times and should remain on site for the duration of the events (multiple seating areas are available to parents/carers while at EcoHub).

One ACROD parking bay is available at front of EcoHub, Rooms are located on multiple levels connected via a ramp and toilets are available within the venue. For specific access requirements please feel free to call or email EcoHub at (08)9364 0191 or ecohub@melville.wa.gov.au
Directions to centre
Please consider using public transportation. There are several bus stops just a 2-minute walk away from EcoHub which service multiple routes.
EcoHub is located at 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop in Piney Lakes Reserve. To reach us, if heading westbound, take the first left after Murdoch Drive on Leach Highway. If coming from the Fremantle area, continue on Leach Highway across Murdoch Drive and use the designated U-turn just after the lights to move to the westbound lanes. Go back through the lights at Murdoch Drive and take the first left. Please park in the signed public carpark.

Recycling hub
Bring the following items in household quantities for recycling at EcoHub when you attend a workshop: household batteries, printer cartridges, light globes, mobile phones and chargers, plastic bread tags, oral care products, plastic bottle lids, metal bottle lids, beer can clips and corks.
