Like a Lighthouse
Still from Like a Lighthouse

Like a Lighthouse by Richard Tuohy and Dianna Barrie | 12 mins, 2023

A blinding beam of light. The piercing sound of ships. Everything—the land, plants, the sky—shouts for attention. Perceptions assail us with their demands to be noticed.

Ahora y en La Hora de Nuestra Muerte by Sebastian Vaccaris | 4 mins, 2024

Observing all the world in a flower; an ecstatic study of colour, a hum of petals opening, a cacophony of bells and saintly icons. ‘Ahora y en la hora de nuestra muerte’ is a hymn to the universal found in the minutiae of nature

Landing
Still from Landing

Landing | by Sabina Maselli| 7 mins, 2019

A ritual in film that performs the return of the celestial body to the terrestrial body, through the act of spinning, mirroring and altering time. Hand processed colour reversal film, accompanied by a soundtrack composed of a single fragment of a woman’s voice that is replicated and modulated, circling around the image at different speeds.

Galaxies [a love letter] by Melody Woodnutt | 3 mins, 2020

An ode to the cosmos, for the lovers.

Lutruwita Waters | by Lisa Theiler | 3 mins, 2024

Ursula's house sits on the Huon river. The sunlight on the river illuminates her house. Ursula is a filmmaker. Her house also makes films.

Inside Outside by Hanna Chetwin |. 8 mins, 2023

A self-portrait during pregnancy, documenting physical changes while imagining the world outside as seen in utero.

Is anybody coming over to dinner? by Audrey Lam | 9 mins, 2021

The adventures of Yokitom around the home and across the seasons, with a supporting cast of family and friends.

Analysis Paralysis by Jordan James Kaye | 12 mins, 2023

Seeks to construct and subsequently deconstruct the connection and juxtaposition between human perceptions and the relationship it holds to individual moments

Last Train by Dianna Barrie and Richard Tuohy | 12 mins, 2016

Found in the (now possibly lost) film archive at Lab Laba Laba in Jakarta, footage from a trailer of the 1981 Indonesian propaganda film Kereta Api Terakhir (The Last Train) melts into a soup of chemigrammed perforations. A film about the silence that follows the unspeakable; about blurred visions, untold histories and inaccessible archive
