Due to overwhelming demand, and with thanks to Agriculture Victoria, we are offering a second AgCelerate business planning and financial literacy workshop in Macarthur on Wednesday 29 April 2026.

Running a farming business in 2026 requires clear financial understanding and confident decision making.

Across Western Victoria, seasonal conditions may be improving. However, the financial impact of extended dry conditions, high fodder costs, livestock sell downs and reduced production continues to shape business performance. In addition, rising fuel and fertiliser costs are adding further pressure to budgets, and as autumn progresses some parts of the region are now experiencing emerging water shortages that are influencing short-term planning and longer-term decision making.

At the same time, opportunity is emerging. Decisions around rebuilding stock numbers, leasing additional land, purchasing land, or consolidating require careful financial planning and clear strategic thinking.

This free practical, face-to-face workshop in Macarthur is designed to support farmers and business partners to strengthen financial clarity and make informed decisions during recovery and renewal.

Participants will:

• review and interpret their current financial position
• build and use a 12-month cashflow forecast
• identify financial trigger points linked to livestock and land decisions
• strengthen preparation for finance discussions
• clarify business goals for 2026 and beyond

This workshop is practical and applied. You will leave with tools and templates you can implement immediately in your business.

With winter planning underway and key growth decisions on the table, this session provides structured time to step back and work on your business, not just within it.
