The Australian Gender Equality Council brings together front-line organisations working towards gender equality. Through rigorous research and government advocacy, we speak to power on behalf of women in all their diversity at work, in the home and across society. It’s more than having a vision. It’s about having a voice – independent, collective and strong – raised together for a future that’s fair.

Your AGEC is dedicated to creating a future where everyone in Australia, regardless of gender, has equal opportunities, rights, and respect. Our vision of a gender-equal Australia underpins every initiative, partnership, and policy campaign we lead. We believe that true equality is essential not only for individuals but for building a healthier, more prosperous society for all.

As a member of AGEC, you’ll be joining an influential and diverse network of organisations all committed to advancing gender equality across Australia. Our members represent a wide range of sectors, each bringing unique perspectives, expertise, and dedication to creating a gender-equal society.
