Description

How do we make Southern NSW and the ACT great place to grow older?

Regional Development Australia Southern NSW & ACT is bringing together regional leaders, aged care, health, community, government, industry and education to explore how we can enable people to age well, stay connected and continue to thrive in their communities.

This roundtable will share regional experiences, identify gaps and opportunities and explore practical solutions to support ageing well across Southern NSW and the ACT.

The outcomes will help shape Ageing Well in Regional Communities – A Regional Action Plan, providing a pathway for collaboration, advocacy and action.

Why attend?

This is an opportunity to:

  • Share your experience — bring your perspective on what is working, what is challenging and where gaps exist.

  • Learn from regional practice — hear about approaches and initiatives that are delivering positive outcomes.

  • Connect across sectors — build relationships with people working across aged care, health, community, government, industry and other areas.

  • Identify practical solutions — explore opportunities to address barriers and improve the ability of people to age well in their communities.

  • Shape regional priorities — contribute to recommendations for government, industry and other decision-makers.

  • Help drive action — identify opportunities for collaboration and actions that RDASNA can help facilitate.

  • Be part of the conversation — help shape the priorities and outcomes that will inform the Ageing Well in Regional Communities – A Regional Action Plan.
