Agency X Yarrenyty Arltere Artists Screen-printing Pop-Up

Agency, in partnership with Yarrenyty Arltere Artists, is pleased to present an exhibition of works, transforming the Wukuṉ Waṉambi Project Space with an array of vibrant painted textiles and works on paper, into an immersive showcase, exploring colour and energy through storytelling.

Coinciding with their runway at the 2025 Melbourne Fashion Week, the artists from Yarrenyty Arltere Artists will “take over” of our Collingwood space, transforming it into a playful exhibition that blurs the lines between studio, gallery, and fashion with an array of vibrant painted textiles, works on paper and a pop-up shop where works will be available for sale.

Yarrenyty Arltere Artists are the vibrant beating heart of the Yarrenyty Arltere Town Camp in Mparntwe / Alice Springs. Comprising Arrernte, Western Arrarnta Luritja, Warlpiri, Anmatyerr, Alyawarr, Gurindji and English speakers, the art centre is a place where people make art, work out problems, look after family and plan for their future.

On Tuesday 21st October, our Collingwood space will be transformed into a screen-printing studio with Rhonda Sharpe and Louise Robertson from Yarrenyty Arltere Artists, who have prepared a one-of-a-kind design for the event!

In the interest of sustainability, we invite participants to bring their own garment of choice - i.e. t-shirt, tote bag, fabric pieces, etc.

This is a ticketed event and your participation will support this dynamic, creative community hub, which rebuilds strength in the community and creates economic access for artists.

Screen-printing will run from 1 - 3pm on Tuesday 21st October, with timed slots available. Follow the links to secure your place.
