This event is the first of three days of discussion and collaboration for scholars interested in ageing and its association with data. Day one is an invite-only full day of presentations and participatory workshops that will explore how we can use creative, co-design and innovative research methods to explore ageing with and through data.

In this event, key scholars working in the space of older adults and datafication will be invited to think creatively about past, present, and future social practices and imaginaries.

Across the three days, we will explore questions including: What data can tell us about aging and aging well? And what are the inherent ageisms in understanding datafication and mundane automation? How can we challenge these ageisms? How can creative research methods provide new insights into aging, ageism and its cultural imaginaries?
