Join Kathleen O'Brien and Homa Therapists Lee and Frits Ringma for this 4 hour workshop to learn the art of Agnihotra. Once you have learnt you will feel confident to incorporate this short but powerful practice into your life.
Agnihotra is a small healing fire from the Vedic sciences that is performed at the exact time of sunrise and sunset for your specific location. It is a purifying and harmonising practice that helps align you with the rhythms of nature and enables you to benefit from these powerful times of transition each day. Agnihotra helps to detoxify and rejuvenate the environment, both physically and energetically. It is very simple to perform, taking about 15 minutes, and its power is extraordinary. It has been shown scientifically to not only purify the atmosphere, water bodies, and soil, but it also neutralises harmful energies such as radioactivity and EMF. The residue ash is saturated with prāṇa (life-force) and is a potent medicine for plants, animals, and human beings.The first thing one will notice when starting Agnihotra is the deep peace that fills the atmosphere.
The workshop will be conducted by certified Homa Therapists Lee and Frits Ringma of Homa Therapy Association of Australia who are based in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Agnihotra workshops are a free offering. We have ticketed the workshop to cover travel costs and accomodation. At Mahasoma we have based our tiered pricing structure on the green bottle method developed by Alexis J. Cunningfolk. This economic justice tool helps you determine where you fall on the sliding scale based on your financial privilege. Please be mindful that there are a fixed amount of places for each option. If you select an option at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher end, you are limiting access to those who really need the gift of financial flexibility. Also, if you can ask others for financial support, such as family members, partners, or friends, please consider using those personal resources before you use the resources of the sliding scale and limit opportunities for others. Agnihotra kits and other powerful healing tools from the Vedic tradition will be available to purchase on the day. Cash is preferable. The workshop is being held at a private residence - you will be sent the address when you purchase a ticket.
