Join Riverina Local Land Services and Women Together Learning to celebrate the leadership, innovation, and creativity of women in agriculture.

Event details:

Join us during NSW Women’s Week for two inspiring days that celebrate the leadership, innovation, and creativity of women in agriculture, food, and farming. This conference is designed to connect communities with the origins of what we eat and wear, showcase the incredible contributions of women across diverse industries, and provide practical skills to strengthen farm businesses.


What's on:

Day 1 – Thursday, 5 March 2026

1.30 pm - 2.30 pm: Southern Cotton Gin tour (Tickets now unavailable)
Step inside one of the Riverina’s most advanced cotton ginning facilities and see how raw cotton becomes the fibre we use every day.

3.00 pm- 6.00 pm: Panel discussion and farm to fashion show
Hear from dynamic women shaping agriculture:

  • Kate O’Callaghan – General Manager, Southern Cotton and Whitton Malt House

  • Alexandra Morona – Livestock production advisor, The Yenda Group.

  • Daisy Toscan – Irrigator and Cotton, wheat, prunes, and almond producer

  • Sandra Ireson - Beef cattle & sheep breeder, farm owner and Hay Inc Program Manager

The discussion will explore innovation, sustainability, and leadership in the food and fibre industries.

5.00 pm – 6.00 pm: Fashion Show with Isabella Thrupp, Director of Prinking in Pindan and 2025 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Runner-Up.

6.30 pm - 9.00 pm: Paddock to plate dinner
A three-course dining experience featuring locally sourced produce.


Day 2 – Friday, 6 March 2026

7.00 am - 7.45 am: Yoga with Em Armstrong (Saltbush Stretch)
Start the day with a gentle yoga flow designed for rural women, blending movement and mindfulness to leave you feeling refreshed.

9.00 am - 3.15 pm: AgriBusiness workshop with Carmen Quade (AgriFocused)
A full-day, interactive workshop covering practical topics to strengthen your farm business:
Learn time management strategies to reclaim hours, discover how to present your business professionally, and gain tips for mastering email communication to reduce inbox overload and improve productivity.
