Aboriginal Housing Victoria's annual NAIDOC Family Day returns for its 25th year!

Our biggest annual community event will feature live performances from Birdz, Canisha and the Indigenous Outreach Project.

Join us at the League to celebrate '50 years of Deadly' this NAIDOC Week, and honour the oldest living culture in the world.

Activities include: Live music and dance, sports clinics, face painting, the Annual AHV Renter Art Gallery, reading and storytelling, traditional arts and crafts including weaving, emu feather beading and boomerang painting. Plus, a FREE community BBQ, raffle prizes to be won, show bags and more!

Program:

11am: Welcome to Country

11:25am: Guest Speaker City of Darebin Mayor Cr. Emily Dimitriadis

11:35am: Indigenous Outreach Projects

12pm: Culture Evolves

12:30pm: Birdz

1.20pm: Canisha

This is a FREE, all ages, all weather event.
