    Event description

A global pandemic, rumours of a global economic downturn, a wave of AI software… What disruption is coming next? We don’t know what the next “black swan” event is, we just know that it will happen soon.

We are also seeing fundamental shifts in the way we work, learn, create, and collaborate due to the increasing power and accessibility of Artificial Intelligence software. These exponential technologies are forcing organisations to dramatically change how people work, how they create content, and even how jobs and work roles are designed.

Navigating disruptive change requires not just the skills and tools to be effective, but the mind set to be adaptive.

Our keynote speaker for this event is Gary A. Bolles, the author of “The Next Rules of Work” and Chair for the Future of Work for the global thinktank Singularity University. He consults with organisations around the world, including a range of companies throughout Australia.

In this high-energy talk, Mr Bolles will chart the dramatic changes coming to the world of work and offer a range of strategies for ways that Queensland organisations can innovate and thrive.

Gary's keynote will be followed by an interactive panel discussion with Nicole Forrester, VP Purpose, People and Culture Fujitsu and Dr Caroline Smith, The Centre for Work Griffith University and moderated by Baden U'ren, Dean, Business and Entrepreneurship at CG Spectrum.

AI & Shaping the Future of Work will take place at The Precinct, Fortitude Valley, on 16 November 2023 - 3pm arrival for a 3:30pm start and networking from 5:30pm. Register today to secure your spot.
