Industry is changing how work gets done.

AI adoption is moving beyond experimentation.

It is becoming a strategic decision for every industry, business, school, training provider and university.

AI is more than a chatbot.

Real adoption means changing how work gets done, how people learn, how organisations make decisions and how leaders prepare for what comes next.

The question is whether business, schools, training providers and universities can adapt together, or whether the gap between learning and work becomes the biggest risk of all.

AI: Engineering the Hell Out of Your Business — The Future of Work is an afternoon for industry leaders, business owners, educators, school leaders, trainers, universities and workforce professionals who want to understand what is changing and what needs to happen next.

What should industry expect from education?

What should education be preparing people for?

And how do we build people, organisations and learning systems that can keep up with AI?

The afternoon will explore the questions that matter now:

How are AI and automation changing roles across industry?
What capabilities will people need when they enter the workforce?
How should schools, VET providers and universities respond?
What should industry be doing with education, not simply asking education to do for it?
How do we protect human judgement, trust and meaningful work?
What should South Australia be asking as it considers the future of AI, jobs and education?

The conversation is informed by the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report, the Australian Government’s AI and employment in Australia report, and The Castlereagh Statement.

With South Australia moving towards a Royal Commission into AI, the conversation between industry and education has never been more important.

Come to hear the ideas. Stay to see the practical demonstration. Leave with better questionsand a clearer sense of what your organisation, school or institution needs to do next.
