AI for Small Business - Forbes
Description
AI for Small Business: Practical AI That Actually Saves Time
You have heard about AI. Maybe you have even had a go. But you are still wondering if it is actually useful for a business like yours, or if it is just another thing you are expected to keep up with. This workshop sorts that out.
Date: Tuesday 20 October 2026
Time: 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Location: Club Forbes, Forbes NSW
Cost: Free
Tiffany Leahy runs Regional AI Co. from Georges Plains, where she and her husband also run a small farming operation and a premium lamb brand. She knows small business, regional constraints and the reality of doing more with less, because she lives it. She also spent 20 years solving commercial growth problems for global brands and now does that same work for regional businesses right across NSW.
This is a working session, not a sit-and-listen one. Bring one task you wish took less time. Together you will work out whether AI can help, which tool to use and how to set it up so the output sounds like your business, not everyone else's.
You will walk away with:
A clear read on where AI earns its keep in your week, and where it does not
AI set up properly for your business so it sounds like you from the first go
One practical use you can put to work on Monday morning
A short list of the tools worth knowing and which one to start with
Real examples from regional businesses already doing it
No jargon. No hype. No robot coming for your job. Just practical ways for a small regional business to save time, think bigger and compete with confidence.
Who should attend: Small business owners, sole traders and marketing staff who want to know what AI is genuinely worth to a business their size, before spending money or time on it.
What to bring: your laptop or device with your AI login information, and any questions or problems you would like to work on.
Registration is essential. Limited places. Light refreshments provided.
Facilitated by Regional Development Australia Central West and proudly supported by Forbes Business Chamber and Forbes Shire Council.
