Steve Nouri, Founder and Board Member, Generative AI

Steve Nouri is a distinguished data science leader who has transformed the way the world perceives AI. Frequently acknowledged as one of the top 10 global authorities in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Steve has made a significant impact in this field. As Australia's ICT Professional of the Year, Steve is a sought-after keynote speaker, educator, and technology influencer with a following of over 1.5 million people. He actively participates in and contributes to the Forbes Technology Council, ACM, Harvard Business Review, and numerous other prestigious organizations.

As the founder of AI4Diversity, Steve leads a global non-profit initiative consisting of more than 10,000 dedicated volunteers. This initiative aims to engage and educate diverse communities on AI and the importance of responsible AI implementation. Steve is the founder of the largest Generative AI community in the world and Gen AI Works platform for enthusiasts to Learn, Discover, and Grow.

Suneeta Mall, Head of AI Engineering, Harrison.ai


Suneeta Mall is a dedicated professional with a fervent commitment to addressing real-world challenges through the application of engineering, data, science, and machine learning. Having experience spanning over 15 years and holding a Ph.D. in applied science, she boasts of a strong background in computer science and engineering, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her endeavors. With an extensive track record in distributed and scalable computing, and machine learning, Suneeta has garnered valuable expertise through her roles at IBM Software Labs, Expedita, USyd, Nearmap, and, most recently, at harrison.ai. Currently, she serves as the leader of the AI Engineering division at harrison.ai, a clinician-led artificial intelligence medical technology company focused on addressing significant healthcare issues leading to inequitable diagnoses. Embracing the ethos of lifelong learning, Suneeta is deeply committed to knowledge sharing.As an author for O'Reilly, she contributes to the technical literature and dedicates her spare time to crafting insightful technical blogs. Her multifaceted skills and passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes underscore her influential role in the field.


Paul Conyngham, Co-founder, Core Intelligence

Paul Conyngham is a co-founder of Core Intelligence, a full-stack machine learning development consultancy firm. Outside of this, Paul is a director of the non-profit - the Data Science & Ai Association of Australia, where they fulfill the mission of connecting the Machine Learning and Data Science communities of Australia through education, events, and our own dedicated coworking space. DSAi has extensive partnerships with Microsoft, Amazon, and Google & has even hosted events with Tesla. Paul is also the host of the podcast "The Humans of AI" which is available on all podcast providers and is one of the co-creators of StarAi, a critically acclaimed advanced machine learning course.

Andrew Boyd, General Manager, Digital Natives & Startups

Andrew joined Microsoft Australia and New Zealand in October 2022 in the role of General Manager – Digital Natives & Startup. By leading and shaping our Digital Natives strategy, Andrew works with founders and the startup community to help them leverage innovative technology and partner with Microsoft to drive their global footprint. Prior to this, Andrew was the Managing Director of the Marketplace at Australian unicorn, SafetyCulture, where he built and launched their global marketplace offering. Before that, Andrew spent 6 years at Amazon Web Services where he built and launched the Digital Native Business. Andrew is passionate about growing the startup ecosystem in Australia & New Zealand and believes that disruptive innovation has the power to transform lives and build a more equitable society for the better. As well as being an active angel investor and participant in the startup ecosystem, Andrew is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, holding several advisory roles focused on LGBTQI+, families and people from non-Australian backgrounds. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics from the University of Bath and currently lives in Sydney with his husband and two sons
