AI in Action Workshop: Hands-On with the latest Platforms

Worried about AI? Excited by it? Simply keen to learn more about it? Join our AI in Action Workshop to get hands‑on with the latest platforms! This is a practical, beginner‑friendly introduction to today’s most popular AI tools, delivered in partnership with Good Things Foundation Australia and Libraries SA.

The session will demystify artificial intelligence by showing how people already use AI in everyday life and at work, often without realising it. Participants will be guided through hands‑on examples of Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, learning what each tool is best for - from productivity and creative tasks to research and fact‑checking. With a strong focus on digital inclusion, responsible use, and AI literacy, the presentation empowers community members to use AI confidently, safely, and effectively.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own devices to truly get "hands-on" with these technologies and skills!

Please note that the target audience for this workshop is adults over 18 years of age.
