Australian Human Rights Commissioner, Edward Santow invites government stakeholders to participate in a webinar to discuss the key findings and recommendations of the Human Rights and Technology Final Report that was tabled in Parliament on 27 May 2021. The Report provides a roadmap for how Australia can protect and promote human rights in the development and use of new technologies.

This webinar will focus on the human rights implications of the development and use of AI in government decision making and the delivery of government services. Panellists will discuss Final Report recommendations which help ensure accountability and human rights protections when AI is used in government decision making.
