AI is impacting student learning across all disciplines. We know from the 2024 Students and AI survey that:
- 73% of UQ students reported a belief that AI increases cheating
- 61% were worried about breaking university rules on AI use
- Students reported a range of emotions: excited (51%), worried (50%), grateful (50%), stressed (28%), optimistic (55%), and sceptical (59%) by AI
- 24% of students agreed they received enough guidance about AI use in their studies
UQ is updating its AI and Assessment approach. This forum allows UQ students to provide input on UQ's direction for AI and assessment.
Please join us on Thursday the 10th of April, either in-person (in room 09-211 in the Michie Building) or online, to have your say on UQ's AI Hub! Morning tea will be provided for all in-person attendees.
A zoom link will be sent out in all online-attendees confirmation emails.
See you there!
