• How to get to Natural Velocity

  By tram
  We’re at the last stop on tram routes 70 & 86 in the free tram zone. Exit the front of the tram, cross the road and enter the left-hand side District Docklands entrance. Head up the escalator near Penny Specialty Coffee, take a left over the bridge and we’re next to Melbourne College of Hair & Beauty.

  By rideshare
  Enter Natural Velocity into your app and your driver will drop you outside The District Docklands entrance. Enter the left-hand side entrance, head up the escalator near Penny Specialty Coffee, take a left over the bridge and we’re next to Melbourne College of Hair & Beauty.

  By car
  Park in The District Docklands East Carpark above Woolies. From your car, exit Level One, walk past H&M towards Star Cres, turn left, take a right over the bridge and we’re next to Melbourne College of Hair & Beauty. Natural Velocity can discount parking to $8.

  By motorbike or bicycle
  Plenty of two-wheel parking is available along Docklands Drive.

  By ferry
  Natural Velocity is a 10-minute walk, or a 5-minute tram ride, from Port Phillip Ferries Docklands Terminal. See the tram directions above.

  By hoverboard
  Not recommended 😂

• Do I need to bring my own device?

  Yes. Please bring a fully charged smartphone with mobile data. You’ll use your phone to access the Challenge, follow clues, complete tasks and submit your answers.

  We also recommend bringing at least one laptop or tablet per group, as some Challenge activities may be easier to complete on a larger screen.

  We recommend bringing a portable charger if you have one — you’ll be using your phone throughout the experience.

• Do I need a paid AI account?

  The simple answer in No.

  Before Challenge Day, we’ll send you everything you need to know about which AI tools you’ll be using and anything you need to set up in advance.

• Do I need to come with a team?

  Yes. The AI Wrangler Challenge is a team experience—but you’re welcome to enter solo.

  Teams can have up to 6 people. Bring your own crew, or register individually and we’ll do our best to match you with other solo Wranglers or an existing team.

  Team matching is subject to availability, and we’ll confirm the arrangements before Challenge Day.

• How long does the Challenge take?

  The AI Wrangler Challenge takes approximately 2 hours to complete.

  Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked start time to check in, meet your team and receive your Challenge instructions.

  Once the clock starts, you’ll have approximately 2 hours to follow the clues, complete the challenges and make your way to the finish line. Some teams may finish at slightly different times, so we recommend allowing up to 3 hours in total.

• What happens if I'm running late?

  Because teams start at staggered times every hour, it's important that you arrive 15 minutes before your booked session.

  If you arrive late, we can't guarantee that we'll be able to delay your start time or move you into another session.

• What happens if it rains?

  The Challenge will go ahead in light-to-moderate Melbourne rain, with several activities taking place in covered or indoor locations.

  If severe weather creates a safety risk, we may adjust the route, delay activities or postpone the Challenge as a last resort. Participant safety will always come first.

• Is the AI Wrangler Challenge accessible?

  Yes. The Challenge is being designed to accommodate participants with mobility and other accessibility requirements.

  The route will primarily use established public areas and accessible paths, and participants will not be required to use stairs to complete Challenge activities. Tasks will also be designed so accessibility requirements do not create a competitive disadvantage.

  We’ll confirm any specific accessibility considerations once the final route is locked in.
