I’m new to AI, is this training for me?

Absolutely. This bootcamp is designed as a launchpad, perfect if you’re new to AI, curious but cautious, or simply want more confidence. We start with the “what” and “why” of AI in your world, then move into supported hands-on practice. No tech background needed, and trust us, there are no silly questions.

Do I need to bring my laptop?

Yep. Download our AI Cheat Sheet (pdf) to get set up on your chosen AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Gemini ahead of the training.

I already dabble with AI tools. Will I still learn something new?

Yes. Even if you’ve played with AI before, you’ll go deeper: mastering prompts, setting ethical guardrails, and building real-world AI outputs and plans.

You’ll leave having spent time with experts and peers in the room and with sharper skills, a personalised toolkit, and a practical plan you can put to work straight away.

Do I need to know how to code?

Nope. Jay can, Emma can’t. In this session we certainly won’t be coding anything in the room - not even vibe coding!

What AI tools will we use in the bootcamp?

We’ll play with leading tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Claude. Don’t worry if your workplace uses something different - the principles you’ll learn apply across all platforms. You’ll build skills you can take anywhere.

Will I get something tangible to take away?

Absolutely - we’ll share samples to get you started, and then you’ll tailor and create your own AI toolkit, plan, and prompts ready to roll.

Can I book my team?

Where is the training being held?

At the historic Royal Society of Victoria, Melbourne. It’s a short walk from Parliament Station and the 11 and 96 trams. Lunch and tea breaks are included, because we believe great ideas are fuelled by good conversation as well as caffeine. We will confirm any dietaries once you enrol.

What if I ultimately can’t attend?

Life happens. If you give us 10+ days’ notice, you can transfer to another date or get a full training credit. Cancellations inside 10 days can’t be refunded due to preparation and limited spots.

We have online AI Bootcamps coming in early 2026, so we would also be happy to move you to our online bootcamp that suits your schedule.
