Coogee Lions Club Co-President Sari-Elle Kraemer has recently returned home after conquering the Everest Base Camp Marathon!
In her motivational talk, “Aiming High” Sari-Elle will share her journey from a novice runner in 2019 to crossing the finish line as the 3 rd foreign female in the World’s Highest Marathon and raising over $126,000 for a cause she believed in.
Hear about the amazing work of Australian Lions Foundation and what Coogee Lions Club is doing locally.
Sari-Elle will also be sharing the insights she gained during her journey to Everest including highlights and struggles in training and fundraising and tackling extreme altitude and challenging terrains in one of the most challenging marathons on the planet.
This is not just a talk on a marathon; it’s a story that highlights the importance of aiming high, finding purpose, embracing obstacles, teamwork and community.
