Olive Cheng is a Perth-based wood burning and mural artist. She works across a wide range of media and is best known for her pyrography 'wood burning' artworks depicting native Australian botanicals, most often based on sites around Perth. Originally training as a landscape architect, and later primary educator, she holds a Bachelor of Design and Master of Teaching from UWA. After 5 years as a teacher, in 2022 she left her full-time primary school teacher role to pursue her arts practice professionally.
