Event description
Are you asking yourself any of these questions?
- How much of a good opportunity is accessible & inclusive tourism for my business or destination?

- Who can I connect with to progress on my journey to be more accessible and inclusive?
Then the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Conference is for you!
Who are we?
The Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Conference in the Asia-Pacific is yearly event that provides all tourism stakeholders (travellers, businesses, policymakers, DMOs) with an opportunity to:
- LEARN how to cater to the valuable accessible & inclusive market to promote sustainable growth
- CONNECT with each other to create momentum and contribute to the upgrowth of the sector
GetAboutAble organises this Conference and in 2023 we are proudly supported by City of Gold Coast.
What happens at AITCAP?
This year, for the very first time, the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Conference in the Asia-Pacific is going HYBRID!
AITCAP 2023 will take place across 2 days and 2 different locations:
- Friday 28th April - SeaWorld Resort Conference Centre, Gold Coast (Australia)
- Thursday 11th May - Online (AITCAP Platform)
Both online and in-person, we will have a mix of:
- Learning sessions with experts in the field
- Networking opportunities with all our peers
Around the Gold Coast main event, we are planning a series of side events including: a dinner, some casual drinks, visits to accessible & inclusive tourism businesses in the region. We'd love for you to join! Details and tickets for those events are coming soon!
Is the event itself accessible and inclusive?
That's our goal of course! In the process of getting your tickets, you will be able to share any access requirements you have so that we can plan to accommodate them. We will do our best to make this event as accessible as we can and showcase the work our partners are doing to deliver a truly inclusive event. You can see further details on our website: aitcap.getaboutable.com/aitcap-2023/accessibility
Conference accommodation rates are available in limited numbers for direct booking. A link will be communicated to you after you register. We will also offer you an opportunity to connect with specialised travel agencies with exclusive offers to help organise your trip to the Gold Coast.
If this ticketing process is not accessible to you, please send us an email to aitcap@getaboutable.com
