On behalf of Friendship Circle, Jewish House, Maccabi All Abilities, The Choice Foundation, One&all, The Central Synagogue, JewishCare, and Tzemach Tzedek we would like to invite you to an important event, #AKinderWorldNow, on Thursday 30 June at 7:30 pm.

Please join us for a panel discussion with passionate community members with lived experiences of disability. We will be highlighting the importance of and advocating for a world of equality, accessibility, understanding and kindness for children of all abilities.

Please join us for a special evening - "#akinderworldnow" - an evening of insight, empathy and hope where a panel of passionate community members with lived experience of disability share their personal journey and their vision and work for a better world.

 Keynote

Rabbi Shishler -

In 2020 Rabbi Shishler launched #akinderworldnow with his daughter Shaina following her diagnosis of a rare genetic condition. #akinderworldnow promotes the importance of kindness, respect, and equality for children living with disabilities worldwide. Rabbi is a radio host, popular international speaker and lecturer who resides in Johannesburg, South Africa, with his family.

Panel Members

Chaya Gopin

Chaya Gopin is a mother of three beautiful children, including a 5- year-old boy who is the 11th in the world to be diagnosed with a rare syndrome. Chaya is passionate about inclusion in the community and is proud to say her "child is joining the #akinderworldnow movement as an ambassador".

Adam Kellerman

After overcoming cancer as a teenager, Adam went on to become an Australian Paralympian in wheelchair tennis. He believes that every challenge provides an opportunity. Adam's mission in life is to share inspiration, wisdom and hope, to empower individuals and businesses to take action towards creating a better world.
