Masala Nights is where colour, music and meaning collide, so get ready to spice things up.
Step into an evening of DJ beats, Bollywood sparkle and authentic Indian cuisine and auction all in support of the Akka Project.
Akka Project is a registered Australian charity that takes Aussie mums and teens to India for an immersive cultural volunteering experience at a school for street and slum children. Our mission is to grow globally minded young citizens and build genuine connections through play, learning and shared experiences with the children of Parikrma Humanity Foundation. Funds raised help create learning-rich environments and tackle barriers like period poverty.
This year, every ticket helps us rebuild school libraries, transform a bare patch of dirt into an outdoor classroom for the Year 10–12 cohort, and fill classrooms with the teaching and play resources students deserve.
It’s a party with purpose and 100% of profits go directly to the organisation we’re supporting in Bangalore.
Tickets: $95 (adult only event)
Includes DJ, a generous curry feast and some colourful surprises throughout the night.
Please note: BYO alcohol, we’ll have ice buckets ready.
Dress Code: big, bold and bright!
Location: CrossFit Geo, 24b/33-37 College St, Gladesville NSW 2111
Dinner: Ready for an amazing Indian feast, with cooks on site preparing fresh food. Food includes entree, main and dessert. We will have tables and chairs set up ready for "curry in the carpark"

- How does the BYO alcohol work?
This year we want as much as the ticket sales to go directly to the project we are supporting.
We will be providing glasses, soft drinks and light refreshments but we ask that you BYO your own alcohol and we will give you a designated ice bucket with your name on it.
- Bring coins?
Have some coins laying around, bring them with you! We will have a coin box on the night. Coins can add up and help purchase useful resources for the Parikrma classrooms
- Are children allowed at this event?
This is an adults only event, please note our Akka Project teens will be working at the event and they are excited to share their experiences with you!
