    The panel of procurement and legal experts will share insights into topics such as integration of procurement strategies with legal expertise, risk management, innovative contracting, conflict resolution, value creation, best practices, and future trends.

    Event Speakers:

    Angela Willis, Senior Legal Counsel – Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora


    Angela is a Senior Legal Counsel working in the Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora legal team. Her specialisation is commercial contracting and compliance. She has worked for Health NZ since it's establishment in July 2022, and before then worked for NZ Health Partnerships providing legal support to their procurement team in the delivery of national procurement solutions for the 20 District Health Boards.

    Sandra McCormack, Procurement & Supply Chain Manager – Oji Fibre Solutions

    Sandra is a passionate strategic procurement professional with 20 years of experience and a keen interest in sustainable and responsible sourcing. Her work was short-listed for the Best Sustainability Project of the Year (2023) by both CIPS UK and CIPS ANZ.

    Shaun Braganza, Group Procurement Manager – KiwiRail

    Shaun leads the Group Procurement team at KiwiRail which is responsible for the management of ‘business as usual’ operating and capital spend. Shaun has more than 15 years of experience in Commercial and Procurement roles. His procurement experience spans category, sourcing and strategic relationship management across multiple high value / risk categories including transport, supply chain, engineering, IT, packaging, and ingredients.

    Wendy Chen, Head of Client Experience and Juno Lawyer – Juno Legal 

    Wendy is a generalist commercial in-house lawyer, and as a Juno Legal lawyer she has been embedded in a broad range of client teams, including 2degrees, Fonterra, Mediaworks, Mitre 10, The Warehouse Group, Fletcher Building, and now Port of Auckland. Prior to joining Juno, Wendy worked in legal and commercial roles at Air New Zealand, and has funds management experience. She is a firm believer that when Legal and Procurement work well together, magic happens!
