AKL: Morning People feat. Aunty El B2B Tradie

Tāmaki Makaurau! After celebrating our 10th birthday at the Town Hall, this is our first Morning People party back in Tāmaki - and we’re kicking things off with two of our favourite DJs, Aunty El playing back to back with Tradie.

Aunty El and Tradie have been playing together since 2021, brought together by a shared love of house and techno. Since then they’ve taken their B2B to Morning People, George FM, Coastal Promotions, On Behalf and summer tours, building a reputation for their punchy house and techno sets that get the dance floor moving.

They’ve also spent the last few months bringing their sound to George FM every Sunday afternoon, with a weekly Minimal Moments slot from 4pm - 5pm. It’s been a regular Sunday soundtrack of house, techno and good vibes - and we’re stoked to bring that energy into the morning.

They last joined us for our Morning People Sky Tower party, and we’re fizzing to have them back - this time taking over Neck of the Woods in a 360 set up, for our first Morning People back in the venue since they reopened. After the community simply wouldn’t let this iconic venue close, it feels pretty special to be back.

Expect a high energy start to your day with a stack of house and techno and plenty of reasons to get out of bed.

As always, Morning People magic is served alongside complimentary free-flow Altezano Brothers coffee, All Good bananas and Karma Drinks.
