Ako Explored project launch

Join our webinar launch and learn about 'Ako Explored', a new comprehensive resource from Linda Keesing-Styles (Educational Consultant) for Ako Aotearoa.

Ako Explored addresses the urgent and persistent need to improve learning and teaching in the tertiary sector. Commissioned by Ako Aotearoa, this new resource presents six universal learning and teaching principles, and related practices to enhance positive learner outcomes. 

These principles and practices… 

• Support education and work-based learning organisations to determine priority practices that enhance success. 
• Guide kaiako/educators to reflect and continuously improve practice. 
• Can be contextualised in a wide range of learning and teaching settings.

You’ll also hear from BCITO | Te Pūkenga workplace learning advisors and Unitec | Te Pūkenga academic advisors on their engagement with the principles and how they are used to challenge and improve their practice.   

This interactive lunchtime session will allow time for discussion, Q&A, and a look around the project page where the resources can be downloaded.
