1pm | Wrestling with referencing
Many students tell us that they worry about referencing, so let’s start with that! Creating accurate reference lists is a great way to maximise marks and inspire confidence in your research, but it’s so easy to make mistakes. This hands-on, interactive workshop introduces the mechanics of referencing helping you avoid common errors and, if you still have questions by the end of it, there’s time for Q&A.
1.50pm | Break
2pm | Getting started with EndNote
Now that you’re more confident with your referencing, let’s look at EndNote, a bibliographic management tool designed to help you manage your research and references. This hands-on, introductory workshop covers everything you need to know to start using EndNote successfully. Note: You’ll need to bring your own laptop for this session with the EndNote software already downloaded. Your Library can tell you where to get a free copy of the software!
3pm | Finish and Q&A
Got any questions? We'll be sticking around to answer them for you. Otherwise, your day of learning is at an end.
