Event description

Hear from regional primary and secondary WasteSorted Schools about successful waste management practices implemented at their school. They will share ideas and experiences about how they have created a successful program including set up, maintenance, and engaging students and the wider school community. 

Five presentations will be shared to both online and face to face attendees from across WA.

For face to face attendees, a light afternoon tea will be provided during network time with some local sustainability providers from 3.30 pm before presentations begin at 4.00pm. 

 Invited Presenters:

  • Albany Primary School - working with Green Teams and sustainable 'green day' event

  • Albany Senior High School - achievable waste actions in Secondary schools

  • Northampton District High School - whole school engagement with chooks and worms

Two more presenters from regional settings north and south of the State are being sought
