Listen up, crew! Dan has crunched the numbers and checked the forecast. We are taking on a premier urban double-header. We’re combining a classic lap of Melbourne’s most iconic lakeside path with a mission to the bustling South Melbourne Market—complete with our signature cheers video along the way!

📍 THE RENDEZVOUS: LAKESIDE LINEUP

• The Landing Zone: The main lakeside carpark at Albert Park (look out for the 7 Days of FUN flag by the water which I now own but likely will forget to bring).

• The Deadline: Arrive at 11:00 AM sharp. We’re locking in our positions and getting moving before the midday rush hits the lake.

• The Transit: Driving? Park at the lake. Tramming? Take the Route 96 or 12 and walk on over. Just make sure you're there on time!

🗺️ THE "ALBERT TO MARKET" ITINERARY

• The Lakeside Lap: We kickoff the day with a brisk, scenic stroll around Albert Park Lake. Take in the skyline views, watch the swans, and catch up with old friends while making new ones. It’s flat, it’s beautiful, and yes—it’s dog-friendly. Bring your four-legged legends!

• The Caffeine & Cheers Pitstop: As we head away from the lake and march towards the market, we will stop off at a killer local coffee spot. This is where we refuel and film our legendary "Cheers Video"—have your drinks held high and your smiles ready!

• The Market Invasion: We arrive at the iconic South Melbourne Market! At this point, the crew breaks ranks. You have one hour (or more depending on pace of Albert Park) to wander at your own leisure. Grab some fresh dim sims, source some local cheese, browse the stalls, or hunt down a massive lunch.

• The Return March: Once the hour is up, we assemble the crew and make our way back to Albert Park to wrap up an epic Saturday out.

🎒 THE SURVIVAL KIT

• Walking Shoes: We're pounding the pavement and hitting the lake tracks; comfortable footwear is a must.
