Alberto Lombardi - Solo Acoustic Electric | with Matt Thomas

Hailed as “The Italian Ace” by Vintage Guitar magazine, Alberto Lombardi masterfully blends acoustic fingerstyle, rock electric guitar, and songwriting into an evocative musical tapestry. After earning the acclaim of legendary figures who defined the sound of modern music—such as Nile Rodgers and Bob Clearmountain—with his rock album Home, Alberto seamlessly transitions to sharing the stage with the world’s greatest living acoustic guitarist, Tommy Emmanuel, on his 2026 Italian tour.

In this Solo Show, these distinct artistic identities converge into a singular sonic experience:

• The Acoustic Soul: Refined fingerstyle arrangements—ranging from The Beatles and Stevie Wonder to Italian classics—where the guitar becomes a full solo orchestra.

• The Electric Edge & Lyrical Solos: A space where the influence of Gilmour meets Jeff Beck, infused with a touch of modern speed, bringing rock energy into an intimate, narrative dimension.

• The Songs: Original compositions, both vocal and instrumental, revealing a sophisticated and emotive songwriter through compelling melodies and lyrics.

• The Producer’s Touch: An expert use of loops and drum machines provides a full-band color to a solo performance.
