Albury-Wodonga All Abilities Dance Party

To coincide with the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), Regional Disability Advocacy Service, City of Wodonga and AlburyCity will be facilitating a dance party for people with disabilities, their families and carers in Wodonga on Thursday 07 December 2023.

This event is all about celebrating the abilities and achievements of all people in the community and aims to raise awareness and promote action around the rights of people with disabilities and their full inclusion in society.

The Dance Party will run from 5.30pm – 9.00pm at The CUBE with the theme of the “80's”. Limited tickets ($10 per person including carers) are available for pre-purchase online or by contacting Regional Disability Advocacy Service on 1800 250 292. If you require assistance to purchase a ticket online, you can also obtain support from staff at Albury, Lavington or Wodonga (Hyphen) libraries.

There will be lucky door and best dressed prizes along with a DJ, photo booth, activities, dancefloor, finger food and refreshments (no alcohol available). The cube is an inclusive venue that offers a range of accessibility amenities, such as accessible parking, wheelchair and scooter entry, low sensory room, accessible restroom with an adult changing table.
