    Ngumbaadyil is the Wiradjuri word for all together.

    Giilangyaldhaanygalang, Dyiraamalang group, AWAHS, YES Unlimited and AlburyCity have come together to host the Albury Wodonga First Nations Youth Ngumbaadyil school holiday program funded by Create NSW.

    This is an intergenerational Cultural school holiday program for 12 - 17-year-old First Nation Youth during January 2024 involving Elders and Youth living in the Albury Wodonga area.

    Activities include - learning about Cultural objects and art, weaving, making rope, drawing and painting, finish off your own clap sticks, designing on and burning a possum skin, learning to dance and yarning with some of our local Elders.

    The same program is run over 2 weekly sessions. PLEASE SELECT WEEK 1 OR WEEK 2 TO ATTEND. 

    Choose which one to attend - 10th and 11th Jan or 17th and 18th January 2024 to come out to Wonga Wetlands, learn, yarn and have fun.

    Then bring your friends and family along to the showcase on 24th January! INVITE YOUR PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, CARERS AND FRIENDS TO SHARE WHAT YOU DID!

    15 spots available on both weeks. 

    YOUTH TO ATTEND ONE WEEKLY SESSION. They can not attend both.
