Event description

There aren't many things more West Australian than the Northern Jarrah Forests - and yet American company Alcoa is currently proposing to clear and destroy them forever.

Not only does this mean clearing of over 7,500ha of Forest to mine bauxite, but it poses a threat to Perth's drinking water and the broader water catchment areas.

Come along to hear about this outrageous proposal and make an effective submission to the Environmental Protection Authority. Please bring a laptop/ipad/tablet to make your submission on!
