Pour Your Own: Alcohol Ink Candles

Learn two new skill sets in this power house collab workshop with Cabernet & Canvas AND The Prospect Project. If you haven’t heard of them, just google “Candle” and they will come up. They’re known for witty insta captions, unique scents, and fun branding. This is a two part workshop where you will learn both candle pouring and how to use Alcohol Inks. Talk about value.

Satisfy all senses as you create your very own custom candle that is going to both look great and smell great. You will get to choose from a range of candle scents such as Lemon Meringue Pie, Sea Salt + Cedarwood or Blackcurrant + Plum. You won't be able to keep your nose out of it - trust us, we made one.

As usual, a fully guided workshop and immersive experience that pulls you outta your day job and into the present. You'll be thankful you booked in early on this one.

What you need to know:

Where: The Cab Canvas Studio; 2/17 Hulme Court, Myaree.

When: Sunday the 15th of October, 2023

Time: Arrive 1:45pm for a 2:00pm start, sharp!

Duration: Class will run for approximately 2 hours

What's included:

Customers will make 1 x candle getting to choose their own candle scents etc. You will also spend time creating the exterior design using Alcohol Inks!

Our studio in Myaree is BYO drinks, so please don't forget to bring a beverage to have in hand while you create! We encourage you to pair your drink with one of our delicious grazing boxes you can select as an 'add-on' when booking to help you get in the creative zone.

Pickup:

Candles will be poured at C&C and collected at a later date once vessels have also been sealed. Approx 48 - 72 hours. Emails will be sent when pieces are ready to be collected - or posted for an additional $10. Please note due to storage limitations, we are only able to hold your work for 7 days. Please get in touch if you need to make pick up outside of these times.

About Cabernet & Canvas

Our classes are designed to be fun, social and achievable for beginners. Our artist will walk you through the process step-by-step whilst offering suggestions on how to individualise your artwork. Anyone and everyone is welcome, no prior painting experience required.

Venue Information

This venue has disability access.
We are located in a busy industrial area with several restaurants to go to after class. Otherside Brewery is also nearby and worth a visit.
