Winter Floral Art Class with Antonella from Flortanica Love flowers and enjoy being creative? Join Antonella from Flortanica for a four-week, hands-on floral art class where you will design and make unique arrangements using dried and preserved flowers and foliage.
Throughout the course, you will create four floral pieces - a table centrepiece, - a vase arrangement, - a decorative wreath, - a herbal wreath. You will also learn about the types of flowers and foliage, explore floral design techniques such as working with dry foam and chicken wire, preparing stems and applying basic design principles. Let your creativity blossom as you create beautiful, take-home floral designs that showcase your unique style!
What will be covered in this course?
Dried and preserved flowers and foliage and floral sundries that you needed for your creation will be provided. - Florist scissors will be available for use during the class. - Class handouts will be given, featuring an outline of the session and details of the flowers and foliage used. By the end of this course students will: Develop the confidence to create floral arrangements that can be adapted for any occasion.

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Antonella brings over 30 years of experience as an educator in both State and Catholic secondary schools, with a focus on Visual Arts and teaching students with disability. Her love of nature, contemporary art and fashion has long influenced her creative journey.
Before relocating from Sydney, she completed a Certificate III in Floristry at Pearsons School of Floristry. Since moving to the Coffs Harbour region, Antonella has established Flortanica, a floral studio specialising in dried and preserved flowers and foliage.
