Alice's Adventures in Wonderland at Yarra Park

In 2006, a tuneful and fun new opera was commissioned by Opera Holland Park in London, and has since had hundreds of sold-out performances.  ACOCo is set to present the live Australian premiere with an internationally renowned cast, supported by elite young Australian artists and live orchestra in Melbourne's hallowed MCG sporting precinct:  entry via Marathon Way, Yarra Park, between Gates 3 & 4. 

The classic tale of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland comes to life in this quirky and delightful family opera.

Will Todd’s film-like score, performed by a small orchestra, is an eclectic mix of jazz, musical and opera - perfectly accompanying the witty libretto to create a fun and engaging contemporary story that remains true to the original character of the book.
