ALISON BRAHE DADDO AUTHOR TALK
Event description
Alison Brahe Daddo was a household name in the 90s. An entire generation of Australians grew up alongside her and now these same women find themselves going through menopause with her.
Ali has made no secret of the fact she struggled through menopause. And so she has charted her journey from model to menopausal mother in her new book which is part memoir, part manifesto, Queen Menopause is published by Allen & Unwin. In Queen Menopause Alison Brahe Daddo explores all the feelings around menopause and especially the post-menopausal years that so many women talk about as being, 'the best years of their life'. Through sharing her own experience in a very real way, Ali hopes that women won't feel so alone in what can be a very lonely time.
Join Clinical Nutritionist, Claudine Menegazzo and Ali for an authentic discussion and Q&A along with nibbles and drinks. After the talk, books will be available for sale through Collins Booksellers Wagga and signed by the author.
