Welcome to alive body... a space to remember through the body.
alive body is a 90 minute somatic dance journey (guided by Jac Keleher) that draws on threads of somatics, embodied anatomy, and non-dual philosophy. Each dance offers a specific intention, guides you through a somatic process, and allows space for the body to move.
The term “somatics” is derived from the Greek word “soma” — meaning body or “the living body”.
Somatics lives in the present moment, and is a reclamation of self-governence over the body. It's not so much about catharsis (although this could occur) as it is about connecting to one’s own sense of aliveness. Sometimes that means meeting what gets in the way.
