All Abilities Active- International Day of People with Disability

Enjoy an afternoon of free inclusive activities, adaptive sport, games, free food and community connection. Everyone is welcome as we come together to celebrate participation, inclusion and belonging.

This is a family-friendly, inclusive event welcoming people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Where: Armadale Fitness Aquatic Centre 60 Champion Drive SEVILLE GROVE

Date: Thursday 26 November

Time: 4:30-7:30pm

PROGRAM

4:30pm – Event opens

From 4:30pm

• Free sausage sizzle provided by the Rapid Relief Team

• Free pancakes provided by the Lions Club of Harrisdale Piara Waters

• Free ice-cream

From 4:45pm

• Ability Gym

• Giant Games

• Information stalls, including the WA Disabled Sports Association

• Chill Out Zone (Sensory Space), including a "Come and Try" Dungeons & Dragons session in the Club Room

5:00pm

• Official opening by Mayor Ruth Butterfield, followed by a guest speaker sharing their lived experience and insights

From 5:30pm

• All Abilities Yoga and Pickleball sessions

• All Abilities Handball activity with the Kelmscott Bulldogs

• Meet and greet with Perth Glory players

7:30pm

• Event concludes

• The swimming pools are wheelchair accessible and we have aquatic wheelchairs available for use whilst at the centre
