Event description

This webinar is a presentation on everything there is to know about breast implants, from the implant surgeries, the types of implants, the complications that can occur, to the possible long term outcomes. The webinar will cover the care and surveillance required for patients with breast implants, possible presentations of implant issues and how they can be investigated.  The management of implant complications by specialist surgeons will also be presented to facilitate better understanding of the consequences of implant surgery.

This is an informative webinar for all healthcare practitioners who are involved in the care of patients with breast implants. It is important to recognise that once a patient has breast implants in situ, it should become part of their ongoing preventative and surveillance health care. Like any implantable prosthesis, breast implants can have delayed problems that cause health or functional issues, which may necessitate revisional surgery.

This event will award 1x CPD Hour.

You will receive a confirmation after registration and the Zoom link will be sent to you 2 days prior to the event. Registration is non-refundable, however, if you are unable to attend the event live, you will be sent a link for the recording which will be available for 14 days after the event. Registration will close midday Monday 17th June.
