Event description

Pricing emissions is a powerful tool to drive sustainability. Set too high, it risks economic disruption; too low, it allows business as usual and continued emissions. When balanced, it creates strong incentives for change, accelerating the energy transition and helping restore the environment to sustainable levels.

The panel will draw on experts from industry, academia and financial markets to discuss climate strategies and sustainability. The discussion will also explore critical issues such as the effectiveness of carbon pricing mechanisms in driving decarbonisation, managing climate change vs other priorities, and avoiding greenwashing.
