Hear from experienced agent Rach Crawford about what exactly a literary agent is, what they do, how to find and submit to the right agent, how to create a strong writer-agent relationship, and crafting a successful pitch. Format
This is an in-person workshop with a focus on publishing industry; it will be held at Queensland Writers Centre inside State Library of Queensland. This workshop is suitable for writers of all levels and writing backgrounds.
About Rach
Rach Crawford is a literary agent at Wolf Literary Services. She has worked in publishing in Australia and the USA for fifteen years, and in literary agencies since 2011.
Rach’s clients have won Walkley Awards, are Fulbright Scholars, have been shortlisted for the Stella Prize, the Commonwealth Writers Prize, many State Premiers’ Awards, Lambda Literary Awards, nominated for Pushcart Prizes, and have appeared on the New York Times’ Notable Books list. She currently lives in Brisbane.
