Join soil expert and organic fertiliser maker Alex Girke to learn about the microbial life in your soil and how you can harness it to promote plant growth, health and harvests.

Alex is the Managing Director of Microtek Organics where he makes organic fertilisers, soil improvers and tonics that are used by farmers, horticulturalists and gardeners all over Australia. In this workshop, you get the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn about how the fertiliser used to grow what you eat, is made.

Alex will discuss the following:

How do microbes help your soil and plants?
How can you stimulate soil microbes?
The story behind Microtek Organics
Which Microtek product should you use when?

You'll have the opportunity to ask Alex any gardening or fertilising questions you may have, so bring them along and he will be pleased to help you out!
