Let the kids immerse themselves in an ocean themed art session these school holidays. A range of art stations will be set up for kids to try their hand at including:

Sew felt whales
Make shimmering clay seashells
Create mermaids from yarn and beads
Learn how to paint watercolour sea creatures.

An experienced facilitator will be on hand to guide kids through the activities.

Suitable for ages six and up. The felt sewing station will be available to children aged eight and up as needles are involved, however there will be plenty of options for all ages to choose from and enjoy. The sessions are offered as drop and leave, although parents and carers are welcome to stay.

School holiday sessions at Gathered Organics are held on a working organic farm located on Walcliffe Road in Margaret River, around 4km from town. As well as the community space where workshops are held, there is a farm shop and cafe, and we share the farm with a vineyard, market garden, livestock and winery.

The farm shop and cafe will be open during the sessions and younger siblings can play outside at the free play stations which include soft play blocks, a sand pit with trucks and water play tables.

Gathered is an inclusive space where neurodiverse people and people of all abilities are welcome. We are happy to try to accommodate sensory needs and accessibility requirements as much as we are able.
