Want to learn to ride a bike? Let's go!

All Ages Learn to Ride is a free community course for humans who are ready to learn to ride a bicycle. Whether you are 7 or 77, our certified instructors will help you get from zero to riding in no time.

This event is organized by Walk Bike Nashville and led by Bike Fun. This class for people who have never pedaled a bicycle and for people who need a refresher of bicycling basics. It will cover the following basics:

Getting onto the bike
Basic balance
Braking and stopping
Pedaling
Turning

Every human learns at their own rate at to their own ability, and we believe in incremental exposure over time. Some students may get up to two pedals and some may not - but EVERYONE will learn SOMETHING.

Bicycling is an amazing way to exercise and get around town. Don't be shy. Come learn how to ride in a safe and supportive environment! Bicycles and helmets can be provided.

Ages 7 - 75+ are welcome. Parents or caregivers must stay on site for students aged 7 - 17.

Class limit of 25. Younger age bands have limited spaces available.
