Synopsis:
All Eyes On Me is a Jukebox Musical that uses songs by Bo Burnham.
The Story follows the journey of Robert, a man grappling with bipolar disorder as he navigates love, loss, and self-discovery. It's a raw and emotional exploration of mental health, highlighting the complexities of living with bipolar disorder, the impact of personal loss, and the quest for redemption and self-understanding.
This show is a charity event:
With all proceeds being donated to Te Tahi Youth, a youth mental health organisation.
Ticket prices are gold coin donation, with another gold coin for programs (with higher donations being accepted as well).
The vision with these low starting prices is to help make theatre an experience that all walks of lives can enjoy.
As with everything in this social climate, prices have skyrocketed, leading to inspiring and possibly life-changing stories being cut from lives due to people's week to week budgets not allowing it.
Live musical theatre should be something that anyone can access.
The additional hope for All Eyes On Me is to raise both awareness, and funds toward mental health issues and depression among the youth. Independent research has been completed, as well as mental health professionals monitoring the story of All Eyes On Me. This was done to ensure that these sensitive topics are handled and represented with the respect and dignity that they deserve.
