TL;DR: The Winter '25 season of our weekly drop-in All In Song Circle (formerly Central Marin Singers) is January 15-February 12. Try it FREE (except 1/29) if you've never sung with Marv before! Click the orange Get Tickets button to reserve your seat. And don't miss a rare visit by the great Laurence Cole on 1/29!

Do you love to sing? While you're driving, on a walk, or in the shower? Then this drop-in song circle is for you! Our All In Song Circle is:

So easy to join in and sing because singing experience is never needed, all songs are taught by ear, there's no music to read, and you never have to have attended a previous evening.
Non-auditioned, non-performative, and anti-perfectionistic.
Welcoming, accepting, and inclusive, especially if you're nervous about sharing your voice.
It's a space where we all make it possible for anyone to join in and feel alive, connected, well held, and uplifted. It's the spirit of... All In.
And it's SO. MUCH FUN.

So...what kinds of songs do we sing?

Led by Marv Zauderer (see bio below), we sing contemporary, non-religious, community-singing songs -- unison songs, chants, rounds, layer songs, and 2-, 3-, and 4-part harmony songs.
Songs are selected for their ability to rejuvenate, soothe, uplift and inspire!
Feel free to check out our YouTube page or our website for videos and audio of us singing together, and our Song Library, which has every song we've ever sung, with links to original recordings when available.

Here are some of the comments from singers in the current and past seasons:

"The most joy I've felt all year!"
"The love and connection and magic in the room last night filled my spirit. Our voices were amazing!"
"Marv has an easy upbeat teaching style that enables quick grasp of the words and melodies. Good vibe with everyone. Simple but engaging songs."
"I left feeling so nurtured by the wonderful camaraderie we all had with each other, and by your way of teaching us these heartfelt and loving songs that are filled with positivity and hope!"
"Thank you for reawakening the love of singing in me."
"I loved it, can't wait for more!"

And, we are SO lucky to have the amazing, beloved community singing elder Laurence Cole (pictured; and see bio below) joining us as Guest Songleader on Wednesday, January 29th!

The All In Song Circle details:

Laurence Cole (Port Townsend, WA) has been leading song circles at various song gatherings and festivals for many years across North America. He is an advocate for the reclaiming of our natural right to sing together as a most basic and primal technology of belonging and connection. In a wounded culture of separation, we can regain the enlivening power of group singing using only what we came in with; our hearts, our souls, our voices, our love.

Marv Zauderer (he/they) leads a community choir and song circles on unceded Coast Miwok land in Marin County, CA. He loves the magic of singing together, magic that can connect us deeply and uniquely with each other and exquisitely bridge so many divides in this more-than-human world. He is passionate about co-creating spaces for singing that are safe, welcoming, and easy for anyone to join in and feel alive, well held, connected, and uplifted. He is also a psychotherapist in private practice in Marin and on Zoom with clients throughout California, Arizona, and Florida, and an executive coach working with for-profit and non-profit executives worldwide.
