Mel Watson

Mel Watson is a respected speaker, mentor and specialist in HR and Wellbeing Strategy. Her senior career in the Australian public and private sectors spans almost two decades, where she specialised in areas such as Recruitment, DEI Strategy, HR Policy, Learning and Development and Workplace Health and Wellbeing. During that time Mel was responsible for projects covering everything from company health and safety initiatives to developing government DEI strategies and manager education programs.

Mel now runs her own small business, alongside consulting, delivers workshops and speaking to businesses and events across Australia.

Mum of two, 80's fanatic and lover of all things caffeinated and sparkly, Mel is warm, funny and relatable, and an expert in her field. She is known for her fluff-free, practical approach. Mel is also a proud woman with disability who is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion. Mel works with a range of organisations, but particularly loves helping progressive workplaces and small businesses to reduce overwhelm, protect against burnout and explore DEI.
