All Welcome Singing Group | Term 4 | 2026

We acknowledge this event takes place on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past & present. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.

This singing group is about connecting with your voice, connecting with others and connecting with your surroundings, in a safe and welcoming group. All are welcome!

We will start the course with some folk or folk-adjacent songs, often inspired by the nature and the land. They are easily learnt in a week or two, and all incorporate the exhilaration of singing in harmony with others. As the group continues we will grow together responding to the groups musical interests and collectively work on our next song choices.

I love creating a safe space for group singing and finding ways to incorporate movement, and helping people find their musical freedom. No matter your singing level or experience, I hope that everyone comes out of these sessions feeling joy and connection! - Mairead

All Welcome will run for 9 sessions across 10 weeks on Tuesday evenings, 7:15pm - 8:15pm at NECCHi Newlands, 20 Murray Rd, Coburg North

Meet Mairead:

The sessions are led by Mairead. Mairead is a pianist and music teacher with over 10 years of experience leading ensembles. Trained in the Orff-approach to music education, she is dedicated to fostering expression, collaboration, and community through music. Mairead brings a wealth of knowledge in group music-making and is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive singing environment.
